Antigonish, N.S. – Robert Brian Wong of Atlantic Data Catch Ltd. (ACD) pleaded guilty in Pictou provincial court on March 2 to falsifying information he transmitted during the performance of his duties as a dockside monitor. Provincial Court Judge Laurel Halfpenny-MacQuarrie imposed a $500 fine to Wong.
During a dockside inspection in September 2009, fishery officers from the Pictou Detachment noted that Robert Wong had falsified the herring landings of a fish harvester at the Caribou wharf.
