Borden-Carleton police investigating break in, theft at mussel processor

BORDEN-CARLETON, P.E.I. —Borden-Carleton Police are investigating a break, enter and theft from Confederation Cove Mussel Co. Ltd., which is believed to have occurred sometime between Friday, Oct. 3 and Saturday, Oct. 4.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry. The culprits broke into several offices and stole a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash. Other items reported stolen include laptaps, digital cameras and an LCD flat screen television.

The Borden-Carleton Police Service are asking anyone with any information to contact police or Crime Stoppers. (Journal Pioneer, Transcontinental Media)
