N.S. boat building company awarded contract

The Meteghan River, N.S. boatbuilding company, A. F. Theriault & Son Ltd.,  has been awarded a contract to build a 79-foot, aluminum high-performance fireboat for the Massachusetts Port Authority. 

This vessel will replace the existing Marine One fireboat at Logan International Airport .  The expected delivery date for this new boat is in June 2011.
